Weather forecasters warn Ukrainians about bad weather conditions on February 28 due to the active cyclones. This was reported by Emergency Service with reference to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
"There will be ice-crusted ground on February 28. In the southern, eastern part and most of the central regions, there will be wind gusts of 15-20 m/s, in the afternoon in Pryazovia - 25 m/s. At night in Sumy, Poltava and Kharkiv regions, in Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson and Zaporozhia regions there will be heavy snow, blizzards," the message said.
In addition, on March 1 in the southern, eastern and most central regions wind gusts of 15-20 m/s are expected; in Pryazovia - 15-20 m/s, snowstorms. In Kherson, Zaporozhia, Dnipro, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv and Donetsk regions there will be strong, sometimes very heavy snow, heavy snowstorms, snow drifts, ice on the roads.
It is noted that such weather conditions can lead to disruption and termination of traffic in certain sections of roads and streets, the operation of electrical networks, utilities, construction and marine industries in most regions of the country (except for Western).

As it was reported earlier Kyiv Administration managed to deal with the snowstorm – it took only one day to clear all the roads, which is a good accomplishment. Arseniy Finberg, famous Kyiv blogger and volunteer, wrote about this on his Facebook page, and he was supported by other Kyiv residents. Other Kyiv residents supported the blogger in comments, mentioning that the community utilities cleared not only the roads but also the pavements. Other users noticed plenty of snow-clearing equipment on the roads.
