Ukrainian side demanded from Russia to stop the supply of the arms and armament to the uncontrolled by Ukraine part of Donbas and withdraw the troops and weaponry at the meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group on February 14. Darka Olifer, the spokeswoman of Leonid Kuchma, the representative of Ukraine reported on Facebook.
'Despite the agreements on the 'Christmas truce', we state with concern the increase of the attacks, including with the use of the weaponry prohibited by the Minsk Agreements such as mortar launchers, tanks, artillery. The escalation became possible because Russia did not influence the militants of the occupied Donbas to stop the fire since the beginning of the truce', the message said.

It is noted that the supply of the arms and armament continues through the uncontrolled part of the Ukrainian-Russian border.
'The militants continue to place the heavy weaponry in the villages and towns, hiding behind the civilians, particularly in Donetsk and Horlivka', Olifer noted.
Also, the Ukrainian side expressed the dudgeon about the shelling of the OSCE SMM drone on February 9.

Kyiv also insists on the necessity of the free access of the OSCE SMM to the whole territory of occupied Donbas, including the uncontrolled part of the Ukrainian-Russian border.
Since midnight on December 23, a new, pre-holiday, armistice came into force. The parties agreed on it during the meeting of the Tripartite Contact Group in Minsk on December 20. At the same time, the sides reaffirmed their commitment to the Minsk agreements. Later it was reported that the militants continue to violate the truce, firing Ukrainian positions.
