Court postpones consideration of appeal on refuse to put Saakashvili under house arrest

The Appeal Court of Kyiv postponed the consideration of the appeal on the refuse to put Mikheil] under the house arrest until January 3, 2018. The judge claimed this during the session as 112 Ukraine reported.
The journalist noted that the court session was postponed due to the fact that the case papers were not transferred from the court of the first instance to the Appeal Court.

According to Ruslan Chornolutski, the advocate of Saakashvili it is possible that his client will be extradited from Ukraine on January 3.
'Saakashvili was served with the summons on the questioning in the SBU for December 26 before the court session'. A lot of law enforcers guard near the building of the court, both the police and the National Guard. All people were checked during the entry to the courtroom', the journalist added.

As we reported Saakashvili and his lawyer appeared at Prosecutor General’s Office on December 18 but refused to be interviewed saying he could not trust or respect the prosecutors. 
The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine (GPU) called Mikheil Saakashvili, the former president of Georgia for the questioning as the suspect in a few criminal proceedings at 9:30 am. on December 18.

Earlier Pechersk Court of Kyiv refused the Prosecutor General’s Office to choose the home arrest as the restriction measure for Mikheil Saakashvili. Now the next court hearing is scheduled for December 14.
