Militants ready to exchange journalist Aseev, - Gerashchenko
Donbas militants included journalist Stanislav Aseev (Vasin) in the lists for prisoners exchange. This was announced by the representative of Ukraine in the Tripartite Contact Group in Minsk Iryna Gerashchenko to Radio Liberty.
"It was very difficult to negotiate, confirm this information, they have Aseev. They officially did not tell us the place of their detention. They just confirmed that Stanislav is with them and he is included in the release lists that we are discussing now," Iryna Gerashchenko said.
She added that the talks lasted about a month. Gerashchenko stressed that the Ukrainian side sought the possibility of visiting Vasin by the OSCE coordinator Tony Frisch, who was in Donetsk in late August to monitor hostage conditions, but he was only allowed to the colony of Makiivka, where Ukrainian servicemen are being held captive.
"Unfortunately, there was no access to Stanislav for any international organization - neither OSCE, nor the UN, nor the International Committee of the Red Cross," Gerashchenko noted.

According to her, his relatives are also not allowed to see the journalist and don’t give the opportunity to his mother to call him.
As it was reported earlier Russia confirmed that journalist Aseev was detained by “DNR” militants. Militants suspect the journalist of “crimes provided by “Criminal code of the DNR.”
Stanyslav Aseev is 27 years old. During the occupation of Donetsk by the “DNR” militants he did not leave the city and was publishing his articles in the Ukrainian media under pseudonym Vasin.
Starting from June the contact with journalist was lost. Human right protection organization Human Rights Watch  received information on July 14 that Aseev was captured by “DNR” terrorists.
