OSCE, UN, Red Cross ask Russia to permit them enter Crimea
The OSCE, the UN and the Red Cross officially sent the requests to the Russian Federation to enter Crimea.
The representative of Ukraine to the United Nations Volodymyr Yelchenko said this at a briefing.
"Yesterday we officially sent a request from the Red Cross, the OSCE special monitoring mission in Ukraine, and from the UN mission overseeing human rights. They should be allowed to enter the Crimea, and in particular, so they could get to the two persons who had been detained . We want to hear what they say, and then the mission will be able to report back to their organisations. We are ready to resort to the following actions if the need arises. We will see how the situation will develop", he said.
