Zelensky cancels two Poroshenko's decrees on appointments to High Council of Justice

The current President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky canceled two decrees of the fifth Head of State Petro Poroshenko on appointment of High Council of Justice Andriy Vasylenko and Mykhaylo Isakov. The respective decrees No. 358 and 359 were published on the website of the President.
By the decree No. 358 Volodymyr Zelensky cancels the decree of Poroshenko No. 218 on the appointment of Mykhaylo Isakov as the member of High Council of Justice.

By the decree No. 359 the Head of the State canceled the decree No. 217 on the appointment of Andriy Vasylenko as the member of High Council of Justice.
As it was reported, the High Council of Justice consists of 21 member, 10 of which are elected by judges’ congress, two – by the President, two more – by the Verkhovna Rada. Besides, lawyers’ congress and All-Ukrainian conference of the prosecutors and congress of the representatives of legal higher education institutions and academic institutions select two candidates each.
