Russia puts ex-Defence Minister of Ukraine Hrytsenko on wanted list

Russia’s Investigation Committee put ex-Minister of Defence of Ukraine Anatoliy Hrytsenko
on a wanted list, as TASS reported.
Grytsenko is accused of public calls for terrorist activity in Russia. The Investigation Committee asks Moscow Basmanny District Court to decide on arrest in absentia for Hrytsenko.
“Moscow Basmanny District Court received a motion from the investigation bodies concerning the restrictive measure in absentia in a form of detention for Hrytsenko. He is on an international wanted list,” the press secretary of the court Yunona Tsareva stated.

According to the Investigation Committee, Hrytsenko issued a public call for terrorist activity in Russia on air of 1+1 TV channel by exploding rail trains.
He also called for terrorist activity in Moscow and Tahanroh on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel on July 2, 2017.
Anatoliy Hrytsenko held the post of Ukraine’s Defence Minister in 2005-2007. He is the leader of "Civil Position" political party. He ran for the presidency three times.

In 2019, he got 6,91% of votes in the first round of the presidential elections.
