Putin's Administration comments on possible talks with Zelensky

TASS
President of Russia Vladimir Putin is open for a dialogue about the issues on the agenda, but “Moscow is not a participant of Donbas conflict,” as Press-Secretary of Russia’s President Dmitry Peskov said, TASS reported.
He commented on the statement of Ukraine’s presidential candidate Volodymyr Zelensky who expressed readiness to negotiations with Putin.

“Putin is always opened for a dialogue except for the situations when someone is trying to frame this dialogue with some provocations, subversions and so on. Putin’s reaction is rather clear, unequivocal, and determined. But at the same time, Putin always was and always will be a supporter of dialogue to solve the problems on the agenda,” Peskov said.
“Putin said that not the dialogue with Moscow is the most important thing in solving Donbas conflict, as Moscow is not a participant of the conflict. This is inter-Ukrainian conflict and only Ukrainians can solve it if they will talk to each other,” Peskov said.

He also confirmed that it does not mean that Russia will not discuss the situation in Donbas with Zelensky if he wins the elections.
Zelensky said he was ready to talk with Putin, as there is was with Russia, but he will never sacrifice territories and people. Zelensky believes that the most important thing is “not to stop the war, but to stop shooting, so that our people don’t die.”
