The international Ben Gurion Airport situated in Tel Aviv has changed the spelling of Ukraine’s capital from Kiev to Kyiv as Foreign Ministry of Ukraine reported on
Facebook“Ben Gurion Airport joined the initiative of Foreign Ministry CorrectUA and corrected #KyivNotKiev!,” the message said.
Besides, Lester B. Pearson International Airport in Toronto changed the spelling of the Ukrainian capital
according to the national standard – Kyiv.

Recently, Bucharest International Airport took such measures, too.
Earlier, Luton airport, as well as these in Budapest, Tallinn and Vilnius changed the 'Russian-style' spelling, accepting the Ukrainian one.
Previously, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister launched the media campaign #CorrectUA to urge the world to use “Kyiv” instead of “Kiev”.  The Ukrainian authorities also suggest that international media use purely Ukrainian spelling for such cities as Kharkiv, Odesa, Mykolaiv, and others, as well as 'Ukraine instead of the widespread mistake, 'the Ukraine'.
