Ukraine's Prosecutor General claims U.S. Ambassador gave him do not prosecute list

Ukraine’s] stated that the U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch a do not prosecute list. He said it in an interview for The Hill.
“Unfortunately, from the first meeting with the U.S. ambassador in Kiev, [Yovanovitch] gave me a list of people whom we should not prosecute,” Lutsenko said.
Lutsenko’s Press Secretary Larysa Sarhan in a commentary for BBC Ukraine specified that this list contained names of the Ukrainian MPs.

The U.S. Department of State called Lutsenko’s statement “a blatant falsification”. The representatives of the establishments added that they do not provide assistance to Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Office, yet earlier they “tried to support the fundamental reform of the judicial system, including Prosecutor General Office.”
TSN Ukraine's TV program has got the commentary of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine. They informed that Lutsenko’s statement “does not correspond to reality, and they want to weaken the reputation of Ambassador Yovanovitch.” The representatives of the body also noted that allegation against the U.S. representatives “is a manifestation of corruption.”
