Russia explains no humanitarian aid supplies to Donbas this year

TASS
The Spokesperson of the Russian President Dmytry Peskov stated that Russia continued providing humanitarian aid for Donbas basing on actual need, as Interfax reported.
“There is nothing else. It doesn’t mean that this practice (supplying humanitarian aid to Donbas – ed.) is suspended. We are estimating the needs there,” Peskov told the journalists.

He answered the question of one of the reporters about the absence of humanitarian aid supplies to Donbas this year.
Peskov stressed that Russia decided on the supplies basing of what needs Donbas has.
“There is no system or any other changes in the approach,” the Spokesperson said.

Earlier, the 84th humanitarian convoy from Russia was sent to Donbas on December 20, 2018.
It should be noted that in January 2018, the UN stopped sending humanitarian aid to Donbas.
