Donbas top rebel Zaharchenko’s close associate detained in Russia for asset-grabbing

Olexandr Tymofeev, known by his nickname Tashkent, the so-called “ex-minister of income and fees” of Donetsk and Luhansk occupied territories, was detained under the suspicion of the raider seizure of an agro-industrial enterprise in Rostov-on-Don, DonDay.ru reports this.

Tymofeev was brought To Moscow for further investigation. Vadym Savenko, the director of a Kolos D private limited company, accused the former "ex-minister of income and fees" of terrorist Donetsk People’s Republic of the seizure of his enterprise in 2017. According to Savenko, Tymofeev sized almost $13,000.

After that, he escaped to Russia.
The so-called law enforcement officers of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic claimed that they detained Ukrainian saboteurs who were probably involved in the assassination of Zakharchenko.
Oleksandr Zakharchenko has been heading the so-called "Donetsk People's Republic" since November 4, 2014, he survived several assassination attempts.
