All people, who created the scandal with Eurovision and disrupted the image of Ukraine, should resign as 112 Ukraine reported citing music producer Volodymyr Bebeshko.
“We expect nothing already because the whole music world rebelled; it is a musical Maidan. We expect the resignation of the people, who created the scandal, undermined the image of Ukraine. They should immediately resign, then new people should be appointed, whom we will trust and we will select the decent one. It is out of the question now. The resignation,” he stated.

Particularly, according to him, people who prepared the national selection should resign.
“It is the national television. They are responsible that Ukraine has the last, second-to-last place for the second year and there is a scandal this year. People laugh at us,” Bebeshko added.

The producer also thinks that winner of the national selection Maruv will be successful in Europe and she will represent serious competition for the participants of the contest.
“This style, which she chose, is bold. I would call it strip-style; all men liked it. Our chaste Ukraine is not ready to percept it, I understand. It will be a success in Europe. I think she will represent serious competition. Of course, I stand for representation of Ukraine by the singer with ethnic roots; the Ukrainian song should play. But we did not bring up, did not have time, prepared badly. And this young woman Maruv came and professionally performed, won with dignity. That’s all, we should send her,” Bebeshko said.

He also noted that it is not right to refuse from the participation in Eurovision 2020 if Russia will win.
“We should defeat with victories, not hole up and hide in the bushes,” the producer said.
As we reported, singer Anna Korsun (Maruv) would not present Ukraine at the song contest “Eurovision 2019”. Maruv said that she was forced to refuse from the participation in the contest from Ukraine due to her tour in Russia.
“I am ready to refuse from performances in Russia. I have answered all the questions the jury had on air. I have not visited Crimea since 2014. I have not violated any law of Ukraine. Besides, I am ready to assume all the costs related to participation in the international contest,” she stated.

Besides, STB Channel stated that the rules of the national selection for Eurovision do not contain demands on the absence of the tours in the Russian Federation. It also added that only the National Television Company of Ukraine can decide who will present Ukraine during the Eurovision.
On February 26, Freedom-jazz girls band, which got the second place in the national selection for Eurovision song contest, refused to participate in it. Later, Kazka band, which took the third place, also refused to present Ukraine at Eurovision.
On February 27, it was reported that Ukraine will not send its representative to Eurovision-2019, which to be held in Israel.
