101 polling stations to be opened abroad for the elections of the Ukrainian president
, as Interfax-Ukraine reported citing Director of Consular Service Department of Foreign Ministry Serhiy Pohoreltsev.
“101 polling stations would be opened in 72 world countries,” he said.

Pogoreltsev noted that 99 polling stations would be opened at diplomatic establishments of Ukraine abroad, two would be located at the military units in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Kosovo.
“The voting will begin on March 30 at the polling station of the Embassy of Ukraine to Australia and will end on April 1 at Kyiv time in Consulate-General in San Francisco,” the diplomat said.
As we reported, Ukraine’s Security Service informed about prevention of a large-scale cyber attack at the website of the Central Election Commission.

Earlier we reported that Russia intends to involve all present arsenal, including the cyber means, to influence the upcoming elections in Ukraine.
The election campaign has officially started on December 31, 2018. Registration of the candidates was closed on February 4, 2019, and on February 9, the final list of presidential candidates is expected to appear. The candidates would be able to withdraw their candidacy until March 7, 2019.
