Patients with cancer can not get medication without Suprun's signature, - Health Ministry

As Suprun was dismissed from her position, medical facilities cannot receive the required medicine for sick. It might be delivered only with the signature of the acting Health Minister, as Ukraine’s Health Ministry reported on
Facebook“The order of Kyiv District Court blocked the delivery of essential drugs for the patients… Medicine on the Ukrainian State enterprises are being prepared to be delivered to the regions,” the press office of the Health Ministry reported.

Drugs purchased for the means from the state budget, $23,2 million was spent. Around 390,000 doses of vaccines against measles, parotitis, and rubella, 954,000 doses of vaccines against poliomyelitis. Medication needed for patients with cancer, diabetes, heart diseases, hepatitis, medicine for those who need dialysis and antiretroviral therapy. Some medication is expensive,  many patients cannot afford them.
The Health Ministry assured that soon they expect delivery of expensive medication for HIV and AIDS positive, patients with cancer, hepatitis and other illnesses.

Earlier on Tuesday, February 5, Kyiv District Court has prohibited Ulyana Suprun from exercising the power of Ukraine’s Health Minister, as the court’s decision says. It was published by Ukrainian MP Igor Mosiychuk
 on his Facebook page. 'The first Deputy of Ukraine’s Health Minister Ulyana Suprun is banned from performing any actions within the competence of Ukraine’s Health Minister,' the court ruled.
