Russia has gotten the proposal of the OSCE to send its observers to the presidential elections in Ukraine appointed for March 31, 2019 as TASS reported citing Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
“We got the invitation of the OSCE to send our observers to the mission, which will control the elections. We have the invitation,” Lavrov said.

He also commented the refusal of the Central Election Commission of Ukraine to open the polling stations on the presidential elections in Russia. Earlier the Central Election Commission closed all polling stations in the Russian Federation.
“We see the aspiration to artificially influence the results of the elections in the favor of the current authority behind the decision not to open the polling stations in the diplomatic missions of Ukraine in Russia”.

Earlier Foreign Minister of Ukraine warned that Ukraine will not review applications from Russia.
