Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Lyudmyla Denisova has announced her visit to Moscow the next week during which she will try to meet the captive Ukrainian sailors
as 112 Ukraine reported.
“I will be in Moscow next week. I will talk with them specifically on these questions. We know that the court session at Lefortovo court will take place on the extension of the detention of our sailors. We will work,” Denisova claimed.

Lawyer Nikolai Polozov added that the sessions on the extension of sailors’ detention in the remand center will take place in the second half of January, preliminary, on January 17-23.
“Considering the further actions, the extension of the detention is expected. It will take place in the second half of January. We expect that it will take place on January 17-23. The extension will take place in Moscow, Lefortovo court as the case is at the Investigative Department of Russia’s FSB. According to the present information, all sailors will be taken to the court. Probably, the session will last for a few days, as it was when the restrictive measure was chosen in Crimea at the end of November and appeal consideration of the claims against the choice of the restrictive measure at the end of December. We expect that the courts on the extension of the sailors’ detention will take place starting from the next week,” Polozov said.

Earlier Denisova flew to Odesa to meet the relatives of the Ukrainian sailors.
On November 25, the coast guard ships of the Russian Navy attacked the ships of the Ukrainian Navy, which have been carrying out a scheduled transition from Odesa port to Mariupol port in the Sea of Azov.

21 Ukrainian sailors have been delivered to Lefortovo remand center in Moscow, three others are in the hospital of Matrosskaya Tishina prison, also in the Russian capital. On December 3, the Russian prosecutors officially accused Ukrainian sailors with the 'illegal crossing of the state border' during the attack in the Kerch Strait.
On December 26, Crimean Supreme Court left all Ukrainian sailors under arrest.
