The funds from Deutsche Bank, 349.3 million Euros, reached Ukraine's state budget. The loan was provided under the financial guarantees of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The press office of the Finance Ministry of Ukraine reported that on Thursday.
'Deutsche Bank provided a loan in the amount of 349.3 million Euros in two tranches: Tranche A makes 53.2 million Euros to be repaid over four years, and Tranche B equals 296.1 million Euros to be repaid within 10 years and the grace period of 4.5 years', the Finance Ministry said.
Previously, the World Bank decided to provide Ukraine financial guarantees worth 750 million U.S. dollars.
Recently, Ukraine received the first tranche by the new cooperation program with the IMF under conditions of the Stand-By Arrangement (SBA), which the IMF Council adopted on December 18, 2018. The press office of the National Bank of Ukraine reported that.
The message says that thanks to the transition of 1 billion of special drawing rights (around $1.4 billion, - ed.) from the IMF, Ukraine's reserves went up to $20 billion as of December 21, 2018. Last time such level was recorded in January 2014.
