Microsoft to repurchase its $40 billion shares

Microsoft Corp. announced yesterday of a new share repurchase program authorizing up to $40 billion in share repurchases.
That makes up 9,1% of its current market capitalization.
The company also announced the increase in its quarterly dividend to $ 0.39 per share that is 8% more compared to the previous quarter dividend.
