Kyiv student made an electro car from an old Zaporozhets
A student of National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" Dmitry Sticky built an electric car himself from an old "Zaporozhets," UBR citing Ukrainskynovyny.
It is reported in the "KPI" welding faculty group in Facebook.
Except an old car, Dmitry used a motor, a quarter of the Nissan Leaf battery and a controller.
Design, disassembly and assembly works of the car took three months, with the help of the student's father and members of the Automobile Club "Electro-AVTOS".
Student said: "The car drives in the urban cycle 50 km/h. It is enough to go to classes and go home."
