Early risers glimpse super blood wolf moon

Britons needed to rise early on Monday morning in order to see one of the most spectacular astronomical events of the year - a "super blood wolf moon".
Amateur astronomers in some parts of the country were able to witness a total eclipse of the moon for the last time until 2029.
The spectacle is caused by the Earth being between the sun and the moon, preventing direct sunlight reaching the moon and causing it to appear red.
