Football: Betis might borrow Ukraine's Zinchenko from Manchester City
Betis CF, the Sevilla-based football club expressed interest in Ukrainian midfielder Oleksandr Zinchenko. Spanish outlet Al Final de la Palmera reported this, mentioning that Betis might need Zinchenko to reinforce the line-up before the start in UEFA Europa League; last year, Betis finished sixth in the La Liga ranking, which gives it the right to play in the group stage of this tournament.
In this season, Ukrainian midfielder badly lacks game practice in England; so far, he has not played a single game with Citizens, rejecting the transfer to Wolverhampton. The Spanish outlet implies that a year-long rent with game practice in the Spanish league (which also involves practice in top European football championships) might be a great step in the career of the young player.
Girona and Celtic also keep showing interest in Zinchenko's skills, so the Ukrainian actually might have a choice.
Earlier, we reported that Rayo Vallecano, the football team from Madrid, is interested in borrowing Andriy Lunin, the Ukrainian goalkeeper whom Real Madrid purchased recently. According to Gol, Rayo Vallecano considers the option of borrowing the Ukrainian in order to create competition for the 33-year-old seasoned veteran Alberto Garcia.
Rayo also thinks of borrowing Roberto Jimenez, who, unlike Lunin, is now seeking practice.
