Three Russians to play for junior national team of Ukraine in biathlon

Russian biathletes
Yekaterina Bekh, Anastasia Rasskazova and Oksana Moskalenko will play for the national team of Ukraine at the international competitions as Biathlon Federation of Ukraine reported.

They participated in the first start of the junior championship of Ukraine that takes place in Tysovets, Lviv region. Yekaterina Bekh won the sprint, Anastasia Rasskazova was the fourth and Oksana Moskalenko was the 11th.
"These girls were invited by the Belarusian Federation. They resigned in Moscow, passed the meets with the Belarusian team. However, something went wrong there and they phoned me. The parents of the girls are the Ukrainians; the documents on the access of the citizenships are in the state of the issuance so now they play for the Kyiv region but only in the individual competition, they do not bring the points for the team. The athletes of such level will not prevent us, especially taking into account that we experience the personnel deficit in this age group," Organization's President Volodymyr Brynzak said.

20-years-old Rasskazova presented Russia at the junior IBU competition last season. In 2016 and 2017 she participated in the world championships among the juniors.
19-years-old Bekh and 18-years-old Moskalenko did not participate in the international competitions.

As we reported Ukrainian Olha Kharlan won Fencing World Cup – 2018.
Kharlan got 190 points in the overall standings and beat Sofiya Velikaya (175) from Russia and Anna Marton (159) from Hungary.
