Football: Ukrainian goalkeeper debutes with Real Madrid

Andriy Lunin, the newly recruited goalkeeper of Real Madrid, made a successful first appearance for his team. The player debuted in the second half of the game against Manchester United in the International Champions Cup, a friendly football tournament.
Lunin allowed no goals while on the pitch.
The former goalkeeper of Zorya Luhansk made history, becoming the first Ukrainian to play for Real Madrid - ever. The Spaniards bought him from Zorya for 14 million Euros.
An official presentation of the Ukrainian freshman was held at Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Madrid in late July. 
The 19-year-old goalkeeper was transferred to Zorya from Dnipro in 2017. He played 36 games in the club from Luhansk.

The Ukrainian signed a four-year contract. According to unofficial information, the transfer cost 'Hammers' around $29 million. Yarmolenko’s transfer to Borussia Dortmund last year cost the same amount of money.
