Attack on Liverpool fans in Kyiv: There's enough police in the city, - Interior Minister's counselor

The security level for foreign football supporters in Kyiv is adequate, in spite of the most recent attack on Liverpool FC fans - which is 'nothing extraordinary'. Zoryan Shkiryak, the Interior Minister's counselor said this in his commentary for the media on Friday.
'Let's not blow this out of proportion, because to me, it seems like the aggravation of the situation. Nothing deadly or extraordinary happened. Unfortunately, there are idiots, and I can't put it any other way... perhaps, such people just cannot find anything better to do, except for such shameful actions... And such actions hurt the image of Kyiv and Ukraine. But this is a pretty common thing, which happens from time to time', Shkiryak said, commenting on the assault on the British fans.

The official added that there's no need in boosting the number of police workers in the capital because there's already enough law enforcers watching the public order in Kyiv.
Judith Gough, the British ambassador in Ukraine, reacted to the incident, tweeting that the British side has been in close contact with the Ukrainian government, ready to provide the consulate assistance in case of emergency. On the other hand, she noted, the injured British fans don't need stationary treatment at a hospital.
