Winter Olympics 2018: Russian fans removed from stadium for banner witth Lenin's image

Two Russian fans were asked to remove the Soviet symbols that they brought with them to the stadium in Pyeongchang; they carried a banner with Vladimir Lenin's image on it.
According to Gazeta.ru, 'the security noticed two supporters in the central sector, as the arena hosted a cross-country skiing event. They brought flags of the Soviet Union and the All-Union Lenin's Communist Union of Youth, which featured the image of Lenin,' reads the message.
The volunteers tried to persuade the Russians to put away the flags, but they refused. The security asked them to give the banners away, too; instead, Russians left the rostrum - along with the Soviet symbols.
The Soviet symbols are banned in South Korea, due to its tensions with Pyongyang.
