‘It seemed impossible. I was born in the USSR, a huge country where professional boxing was prohibited. I watched Myke Tyson’s fights when he became the world’s youngest heavyweight champion back in 1986. And I told my friends someday I’d fight such guys as well, that I’d become a champion, too. And there was that brilliant moment when I took the belt once worn by Tyson and Mohammed Ali. It’s crucial to have a dream and do everything possible to bring it to life,’ Klitschko said, commenting on his success.

Vitalii Klitschko’s announced retirement from professional boxing in 2012.
