Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018: Girl from Vinnytsia to represent Ukraine

Daryna Krasnovetska from Vinnytsia became the winner of the national selection for Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018. UA:Pershyi reported.  
The girl will represent Ukraine with a song "Say love" at the international competition, which takes place in Belarus, Minsk on November 25, 2018. 

This year, the selection of the winner among the ten finalists was based on the results of the jury's assessment, as well as the viewers' online voting.
11-year-old Daryna Krasnovetska is professionally engaged in vocals for over five years. In 2016, she participated in vocal talent-show the Voice Kids. Moreover, yet two years in a row, she is participating in children's festival Black Sea Games, where she won in the nomination of "Girls (younger group)" in 2017, and "Girls (middle group)" in 2018.  

As it was reported in July, Ukrainian representative cannot take part in the contest due to the shortage of funds. However, later, the UA:PBC claimed that our country would still send its representative to this contest. Although, the national selection won't be held on the air, as in previous years, but online, to save money. 
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest is held from 2003. Up to 15-year-old children participate in the contest, they represent the member countries of the European Broadcasting Union. This year, the contest will take place in Minsk in November.
