On August 20, Moldova imposed the “orange” threat level on the results of the session of the national emergency commission for public health as Bloknot reported.
Moreover, the decision on the work-out of the national plan for the prevention of the spread of the epidemic through the vaccination of children and adults up to September 1 was made.

It is noted that the most of the cases were spotted in the southern regions of Moldova.
According to the message, 95% of the children were vaccinated during the last 10 years. Now, the doctors report about 87%. The low level of the vaccination is spotted in Balti, Causeni, Ialoveni, Tiraspol, Dubossary, Slobozia, Ceadir-Lunga and Taraclia. In the most cases, the refusal of the parents for the vaccination of the children is connected with the religious grounds.

As we reported earlier a minor died of measles in Kyiv region. It is also noted that 26692 people got measles since the beginning of 2018 – 10800 adults, 15892 children.
Earlier the European Health Security Agency reported that Ukraine was the third in Europe on the number of people infected with measles in 2017. The leaders are Romania and Italy.
