Anti-Semitic inscriptions appear in Odesa

The police of Odesa are figuring out the details of the ethnic hatred-based incident in Odesa: anti-Semitic writings appeared on the walls in the city's Prymorsky district. Odesa region's police branch office reported that on Monday.
The police are searching for the perpetrators.  
The law enforcers are to open the criminal investigation on the fact of violation of citizens' equality of rights, based on their racial, national identity or religious beliefs, which is foreseen by the respective article of the Criminal Code.
In May, Ukraine's Foreign Ministry dismissed the Ukrainian consul in Hamburg due to his anti-Semitic expressions.
"At this point, the consul is suspended from performing his duties, we do not exclude his withdrawal to Ukraine from Hamburg, but at the same time a thorough check of all details continues, after which we will inform the public about results," a spokeswoman for the Ministry said.
