Ukraine's Antonov An-26 performs forced landing in Egypt
Antonov An-26, the cargo aircraft from Ukraine, performed a forced landing in Egypt. The plane landed on a field not far from El Alamein, located on the Egyptian coast of the Mediterranean, Almasdar reports.
The cause of the landing was a technical malfunction. There were six crew members on board, and no one suffered in the incident. Nevertheless, the entire crew was taken to a hospital to check their conditions and any possible internal damage to their bodies.
Yunis Al-Masri, the minister of civil aviation of Egypt, confirmed that the aircraft had to land before it could re-fuel in El Alamein.  
Earlier, a MiG-21 fighter crashed at the Borcea airbase in southern Romania. The incident occurred on July 7. According to the agency, the air base announced an open day. In this regard, the fighter made a demonstration flight, to look at which several thousand people gathered there. The fighter collapsed on a field near the base and exploded after striking the ground. The pilot managed to bail out.
