Poland, Russia, Hungary among most frequently-visited by Ukrainians countries in 2017

Poland, Russia, Hungary, and Moldova were the countries where Ukrainians went most in 2017, as the State service of statistics informed sourcing the State security service of Ukraine.
According to their numbers, 9,990,978 Ukrainians visited Poland, 4,376,423 - Russia, 3,118,758 - Hungary,  1,680,353 - Moldova, 1,186,466 - Belarus, 1,185,051 - Turkey, and 1,045,424 - Romania.
When it came to organized tourist trips, most Ukrainians went to Turkey (29,495 people), Egypt (14,810), Belarus (12,656), Bulgaria (12,255) and the OAE (8,135). On business, must Ukrainians travelled to Belarus (42,868), Russia (28,177), Bulgaria (7,925), Turkey (7,549), and Romania (3,475).

Overall, 26,437,413 Ukrainians went abroad in 2017. The statistics didn’t include the military and the staff of transport services.
As it was reported earlier, Ukrainians mostly went to Poland, Russia, Italy and the Czech Republic in search of work. As of Jan. 30, some 400,000 Ukrainians have travelled to the EU under the visa-free regime.
