Poroshenko stands for increase of minimum wage up to 151dollars

Petro] stands for the increase of the minimum wage up to 151dollars in 2018. He claimed this at the forum of the united communities broadcasted by 112 Ukraine.
‘The decision implemented in the beginning of 2017 that increased the minimum wage from 58.9 dollars to 117.7 dollars is unexampled in Ukraine and it is the right decision, it should continue. I want to thank the government and the prime minister that there is a response for my appeal in the draft budget and we can decide to increase the minimum wage up to 151dollars on the basis of the improvement of the investment climate and income to the budget’, he noted.

The minimum wage is 117.7 dollars since January 1, 2017.
According to the State Statistics Service, the average wage increased up to 271 dollars in October 2017.

Also, according to the National Bank of Ukraine, the increase of the minimum wage influenced the dynamics of the inflation.
