Kyiv residents have electricity debt constantly rising"Kyivenergo" consumers have increased their electricity debts by 51% over last 9 months.

PJSC "Kyivenergo" consumers have increased the debt for electricity by 51% (UAH 320 million) to UAH 945 million over last 9 months this year, "Kyivenergo commercial director Yevhen Bushma said at a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.

"If we talk about electricity, we have started the year with receivables about UAH 625 million for all customers categories, and for the first 9 months this amount had risen to UAH 945 million," he added.

According Bushma, the company "Kyivvodocanal" has had the biggest electricity debt growth of more than UAH 200 million.

Utility enterprise "Kievpasstrans" took the second place in terms of debt accumulation.

According to the commercial director of "Kyivenergo", the population electricity debt has increased from UAH 198 million to UAH 244 million.
