About half of the Ukrainian citizens would vote for Ukraine's accession to the European Union in September 2016, according to the survey of the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS).
Thus, according to the poll, if the referendum on Ukraine's accession to the EU had been held in September 2016, 49% of respondents would vote "for", 25% of respondents would vote "against", and the remaining 25% - would be undecided or would refrain from the voting.
However, if those who have not decided how to vote, would not come to a referendum, about 74% of all those eligible to vote and residing in unoccupied territory would take part in the referendum. The voting would be as follows: for the EU membership - 66%, against - 34%.
In its turn, the idea of Ukraine joining the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan is not supported by the residents of Ukraine.
Thus, 18% of residents of Ukraine would vote in a referendum for Ukraine's joining the CU, 55% would vote against, and 27% would be undecided or would not take part in this referendum.
