Kyiv has UAH 1bln electricity debtThe public debt amounted to UAH 244,3 million.

Ukrainian capital has its electricity debt increased by almost 1.5 times and reached UAH 941.5 million, according to "Kyivenergo" Facebook page.

"The public utilities, the population and the state budget (in terms of benefits and subsidies to the population) have the biggest debt for electricity," "Kyivenergo" reported.

In particular, the debt of "Kyivvodocanal" from the beginning of the year grew by more than UAH 225 400 million, and now stands at UAH 394.5 million.

According to the report, public debt also increased by 46 million hryvnia, and by now has makde up UAH 244.3 million.

"The residents of Darnytskyi, Desnyanskiy and Solomenskiy areas owed the most," according to the "Kyivenergo".
