PGO: Kyivstar's employees evaded tax payments of over UAH 2.3 billion in 2014

Employees of Kyivstar mobile operator using fake economic transactions in 2014 evaded tax payments of over UAH 2.3 billion, according to the inspection report, the public and media relations department of Ukraine's Prosecutor General's Office has reported.
A criminal case has been launched.
Investigators of the fiscal service are investigating the case..
Kyivstar said that the State Fiscal Service earlier inspected Kyivstar's documents for 2009-2014. After the inspection UAH 1.3 billion of taxes were additionally accrued for the operator.

"Kyivstar today is challenging the groundless accruing of the taxes, and these liabilities cannot be paid out. We learnt about the criminal case from a report posted on the website of Prosecutor General's Office. Kyivstar has not received any notifications from pretrial investigators or prosecutors about the case launched," the press service of the operator said.
