Police investigating how Hryhoryshyn brought billions in offshoreAt least 170 million dollars have been brought in offshore by Russian oligarch Konstantin Hryhoryshyn. The funds were brought in years 2007-2012 by JSC "Sumy Machine Building Research and Production Association".

This was written by a spokesman of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Artem Shevchenko in the article to Censor.

In January 2016 the national police opened criminal proceedings concerning this case. The investigation revealed that in the years 2007-2012 the company officials misused and squandered the office property totaling $ 170 million.

Two agreements are involved in this case.

In those years, Sumy plant signed a contract with the Cyprus offshore "Kazakyya Trading LTD" and company "A & K Electro Advanced (Asia and the Caucasus) Ltd". The plant listed them over $ 50 million, but has received no service.

In addition, in 2010-2012 the plant has put to Russian LLC "Tehnoimport" the equipment whose value amounts to $ 120 million. But once again the payment hasn’t been received.

In sum, says Shevchenko, about 5 billion uan have been brought in offshore from Sumy plant.

Let us recall that the Sumy plant produces equipment for oil, gas, nuclear and chemical industries. The enterprise is controlled by the group "Power standard" of Konstantin Hryhoryshyn.

As mentioned at the site, the Parliamentary Committee on National Security and Defense will consider oligarchs’ involvement in the promotion of Russian aggression and separatism in Ukraine. Committee member Andrew Levus noted that Russian oligarchs who operate on the territory of Ukraine, took direct participation in the financing of separatist projects. In the list there are the names of Malofeyev, who sponsored and employed Strelkov, Kesaev, Hryhoryshyn and Babakov.
