Police search explosives at Kyiv, Odesa airports

Operative units - explosive experts, K-9 crews, workers of the territorial departments of the State Emergency Service and investigators reached the sites to check the premises. The passengers and the crew were evacuated.

Over the last several days, cases of 'mining' strategic infrastructure objects were observed in Ukraine. Ukraine's Interior Ministry reported that such messages come from the occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk region, and Russia is behind such messages. 
No explosives were found, the airports resumed working.

On April 21, law enforcement officers received reports about the mining of shopping malls, hotels, airports, shops in many regions of Ukraine.

In Kharkiv, unknown offender allegedly "mined" four hotels in different districts of the city. People were evacuated from the buildings, dog handlers and bomb experts inspected the sites. In addition, police received another report of mining the hotel on Independence Ave, but after an inspection of 2,200 square meters of rooms and 3,000 square meters of the adjacent territory they did not find explosives.

Another case was observed in Kharkiv, where the international airport and two shopping centers were allegedly mined. Policemen found no explosive devices there.
