101 persons sickened with measles
in annexed Crimea, as Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-Being in Crimea reported.
Such number was registered all over the peninsula, including five persons in Sevastopol. People, who were never sick of measles and were not vaccinated, immediately infected after the contact with the diseased people.
The additional immunization of the population against measles has started in Crimea on April 1 to reduce the number of the diseased. The Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-Being states that there are enough vaccines on the peninsula and in Sevastopol and recommends all citizens to get vaccinated.

It was reported that 30,794 people have infected with measles since the beginning of 2019 in Ukraine. The incidence rate grows in Kyiv, Khmelnytsk, Ternopil, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv regions and in Kyiv as well.
Earlier a two-year-old boy deceased because of the complications caused by measles. The deadly case was observed in Lviv, western Ukraine. 
Moreover, a nine-year-old girl died from measles in Rivne region. It is the third case since the beginning of the year.
