Garden square named after Boris Nemtsov to open in Kyiv

The garden square will appear in Kyiv in honor of the Russian oppositioner Boris Nemtsov
, who was murdered in Moscow four years ago. The press service of Kyiv mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported this.
“The unnamed garden square next to the embassy of the Russian Federation, on the corner of Surykova Street and the Povitroflotsky Avenue was named after the Russian oppositionist Boris Nemtsov, who was killed in Moscow four years ago”, the report said.

According to the report, the memorial complex was set in honor of the deceased politician in the garden square. The latter was designed by the Russian architects.  
Vitaliy Klitschko, the mayor of Kyiv pointed out that this square will remind the Russian embassy every day about those people fighting for the truth, democracy, justice and bright future for their country.
Boris Nemtsov heavily criticized the actions of the Russian Federation against Ukraine; he condemned Crimea's annexation and the presence of the Russian militants in Donbas.

Klitschko reminded that a square after Nemtsov was opened in Washington last year, the square is located near the Russian embassy as well. Soon, the garden square after Boris Nemtsov in front of the Russian embassy will appear in Vilnius.
As we reported earlier, The US State Department honored the memory of the murdered Russian oppositionist Boris Nemtsov and called on the Russian government to punish all organizers and contractors of his murder. 
Boris Nemtsov, a Russian opposition politician was murdered on February 28, 2015, in Moscow downtown. Moscow District Military Court declared two people involved in the murder of the politician and sentenced them to 11 – 20 years of imprisonment in a high-security prison. As to the prosecution, Ruslan Mukhudinov, the former officer of the Sever battalion is believed to be a person who ordered and organized the crime. He is charged in absentia. Mukhudinov is in the international search from November 2015. The investigation of this case is a separate proceeding.
