The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has met with filmmakers of the movie “Cyborgs” today, February 10. The President himself wrote on Facebook. The meeting was held in the house of Ahtem Seytablayev, the director of the movie, and his wife Ivanna Dyadyur, the producer.

“Such warm meetings around sincere and kind people you remember for the whole life. All the conversations with such people are dedicated to the urgent topics: the war, the Crimea and Donbas reintegration, the prominent future of Ukraine, the art, especially during the war. It was very interesting to find out about some episodes of the filming process as well as to sing our Ukrainian songs. And the flavored pilaf suits perfectly well to such a company, as in our Bakhchysarai”, - the President wrote.

He also added that after such conversations, the question appeared, if there were no Ukrainian culture and language, what would our soldiers fight for[/img]
“Cyborgs” will be popular not only in Ukraine but in Europe as well”, - Poroshenko said.
As we reported earlier, Ukrainian film "Cyborgs’ has broken the record on the box office and number of views in the times of independent Ukraine.
Akhtem Seitablaev, the director got the main award of the Kyiv Film Festival Molodist for the military drama 'Cyborgs'.
‘Cyborgs’ is a Ukrainian feature film which tells the story of the defenders of Donetsk airport, who by their unconditional bravery were called cyborgs.

It was first aired in December 2017. The production team launched the social initiative ‘IDoCare’, which assumes that every 17 U.S. cents from a bought ticket will go to cover the needs of the families of deceased defenders of Donetsk airport.
