The occupational authorities of Crimea demand from the clergy and the churchgoers to get out of the building of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Simferopol. Yevstratiy Zoria, Archbishop of Chernihiv and Nizhyn, wrote this on Facebook.

“The archbishop Kliment and the churchgoers of the Sts. Volodymyr and Olha Ukrainian Church in Simferopol need all of us to pray for them, as the occupational forces of Crimea demanded from them “to leave the building”.

The only Orthodox Church in this city is threatening to be destroyed. Apparently, this is the revenge from Moscow, including for the human rights activities of the Ecumenical Patriarchate”, - Yevstratiy Zoria said.
As we reported earlier, it was reported that the members of the Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate signed the Tomos on providing autocephaly for the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew passed the Tomos of autocephaly and bishops’ crosier to the apostle of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine Epifaniy. The event happened during the festive service in St. George's Cathedral in Istanbul.
In 2019 the new manuals of the history of Ukraine will be published, they will cover the information of receiving Tomos on the autocephaly for the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
