Ukrainian film got three awards at International Film Festival in Italy

The documentary “Ivano-Frankivkskteplokomunenergo sings” directed by Ukrainian filmmaker
Nadia Parfan won three out of four awards in the industrial section of Last Stop Trieste International Film Festival in Trieste, Italy as the State Film Agency reported on Facebook.
According to the agency, the movie got such awards as Film Center Serbia LST Award, 2,500 euro, HBO EUROPE Award, 1,000 euro and FLOW Post Production Award, money reward for the services necessary for the post-production of the film.

“We knew that our communal service workers will not let us down and we did not expect such recognition of our project and we still under the impression from this jackpot,” the producer of the film noted.

The movie “Ivano-Frankivkskteplokomunenergo sings” directed by Nadia Parfan tells about the routine of
communal]workers. The project of the film became one of the winners of the 10th competitive selection process of the State Film Agency. The sum of the state financial support is $42,000.

As we reported almost $17 million were spent for the production of the Ukrainian films
in 2018. 
Earlier Prychynna.The Story of Love, an animated short film will be shown at Tehran film festival.

Besides, Ukrainian films “Donbass” by Serhiy Loznytsia, “When the trees fall” by Marysia Nykytyuk, and “Volcano” by Roman Bondarchuk got the awards at 49th International Film Festival in Goa (India).
Moreover, Ukrainian documentary film directed by Ukrainian Oles Sanin and American Mark Harris ‘Breaking point: The war for democracy in Ukraine’ will fight for the Oscar Award.
