Russian FSB declares detention of Ukrainian in annexed Crimea

Employees of the Russian Border Service detained a young Ukrainian near the administrative border with mainland Ukraine in annexed Crimea, who allegedly was there without special permits. TASS reports this with reference to the press service of the Federal Security Service of Russia in Crimea.
It is noted that the incident occurred in early January, but the information of it was published only now.
"On the first holidays of January of this year, officers of the Frontier Directorate of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Republic of Crimea detained a Ukrainian citizen born in 1992 who was in close proximity to the state border of the Russian Federation without relevant documents”, reads the message.
It clarifies that the incident occurred away from the Dzhankoy automobile checkpoint.
“A man is detained for violating the rules for entry into the border zone, temporary stay and movement in it according to part 1.1 of article 18.2 of the Code on Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation,” the report said.
