State Agency of Automobile Roads of UkraineThere are 469 units of snow-clearing equipment working on the Ukrainian roads due to the snowfall, reports the press office of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
As of the evening of January 5, precipitation in the form of light snow is observed in the following regions: Vinnytsia, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Lviv, Sumy, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Chernivtsi.
The road traffic on the highways of state and local significance is open. Ice slick is observed in some places on the roads. Heavy engineering equipment of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine is in standby mode, but hasn’t yet been involved in clearing the roads.
Three settlements in Luhansk region remain without a power supply due to the deterioration of weather conditions.
