Wizz Air enters into negotiations with Boryspil International Airport

Wizz Air Ukraine
Wizz Air low-coster started negotiating with Boryspil International Airport, as well as several regional airports of Ukraine. CEO of Wizz Air Jozsef Varadi claimed this, according to Liga.net.
‘We are opened to new proposals, this is why we hold negotiations with both Boryspil and other regional airports,’ he claimed.

He noted that Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany), which Wizz Air is currently cooperating with has a number of technical limitations, which restricts the further development of the Ukrainian branch.
‘Among them are short airstrips. We gradually equip our fleet with new Airbus A321, which are bigger than Airbus A320. Nowadays, Zhuliany Airport is capable to receive A320 only. This issue needs to be resolved, that’s why the leadership has to invest money to the airport,’ Varadi claimed.

As we reported earlier, Irish air carrier Ryanair intends to invest around $1,5 billion in Ukraine within the next five years, increase the fleet to 15 planes, and the annual ridership to 5,000 000 people.
President Poroshenko stressed that he completely supports Ryanair plans in Ukraine and considers them an important element in the integration with the European Union.
