President of Russia Vladimir Putin claimed that Russians Alexander Petrov and Ruslan Bashirov accused by the U.K. in the poisoning of Skripals are usual civilians as Meduza reported.
“We, of course, looked who are these people and we know who they are. We found them. There is nothing special and criminal about them, I assure you,” Putin claimed at the East Economic Forum.
Russia’s president offered them to talk with mass media and introduce themselves.

As we reported the Crown Prosecution Service of the U.K. called the names of the suspects in the poisoning of the ex-GRU officer Sergey Skripal and his daughter Yulia. The police suspect Russians Alexander Petrov and Ruslan Bashirov. They are accused of the poisoning of Skripals, a police officer who participated in the investigation and two citizens of the U.K. poisoned in Amesbury.
The investigation is sure that there is enough evidence to file charges.
Earlier the police of United Kingdom declare that they have identified perpetrators of the attempted assassination of Sergei Skripal and his daughter in Salisbury.

Later it was reported that there could be four more suspects in the Skripals case - apart from Aleksandr Petrov and Ruslan Boshyrov, whose names were revealed by the British counter-intelligence.
As it was reported Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia were poisoned in British Salisbury. Later, Theresa May, British PM, stated that Russia was responsible for that, and the investigation has confirmed the use of the Novichok nerve agent, which is produced in Russia.
