Crimean citizens get Ukrainian passports six times more in 2018

During 2018, the growth of the number of the Ukrainian passports issued to the citizens of Crimea is spotted. Izet Gdanov, the First Deputy of Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in Crimea claimed this as RBK-Ukraine reported.
As at August 1, 4,500 citizens of Crimea got the ID-cards. Gdanov reported that the issuance of the passports takes place in Kherson region.
“We see the growth of the demand from the citizens of Ukraine in Crimea for the issuance of the state standard document,” he added.

Moreover, since 2017, the significant increase of the issued biometric passports to the Crimeans for the trips abroad was observed.
“Since January 1, 2017 until September 14, 2017, 8,398 people got the passports of the citizen of Ukraine for the trips abroad. In a year, 55, 392 people got them,” Gdanov noted.
Also, it is reported that the additional centers for the issuance of the documents for the Crimeans were opened in Kherson region.

As we reported, as at July 1, 2018, 42,263,9 people live in Ukraine. It is noted that the excess of the number of those who died over those who was born is still significant: 55 born for 100 died.
Also, 39,582 citizens of Ukraine were granted the Russian citizenship in 2018. Since January 2018 until June 2018, 39,582 citizens of Ukraine were granted the Russian citizenship (it was accepted, restored or recognized).
