Militants impede work of OSCE in south Donetsk, - Hug

Both sides are impeding the monitors of OSCE to move in Donbas. However, most of the cases are taking place in the south of the occupied territory in the Donetsk region. Aleksandr Hug, Vice-Chairman of OSCE, Hromadske reports. 
‘It happens on either side; however, it is more on uncontrolled by the state territories. Especially, in the south of the Donetsk region, uncontrolled Ukraine. It is a patch of land almost 30km in width, reaching the Sea of Azov. We have repeatedly been stopped and wasn’t allowed to do our work,’ he stressed. 

Hug noted that the organization is trying to protect the monitors using proper equipment and exercises. 
‘But we can’t protect them from all risks. Both sides are responsible for the protection of civilians, including our monitors,’ he noted. 
Reportedly, recently, the monitors of OSCE recorded the convoys of trucks, which were entering Ukraine through the uncontrolled border area with Russia. They went by minor roads with no checkpoints around.
